Ok so today is Fathers Day, and I am going to dedicate my first ever blog to my beautiful, and beloved Mother, and Father. I can't leave Mum out can I?

I have so much respect, and love for both my parents. I challenged them both, as I was growing up. They have had it hard, having to cope with poverty, racism, and adapting to the western way of living, but have both embraced the adversities,. But they worked hard, and fought hard and I am so proud of them for that. They have given my brothers and I so much, and I love them dearly for that.

Mum is so wonderfully creative, and loves to cook, and is the best cook I know. I suppose its because her food is made with so much love. Go round there at anytime of the day, and she will fill you with culinary, heavenly delights. She has a beautiful, star sprinkled laugh, and a very youthful, naughty, cheeky sense of humour. She always looks so beautiful, and has a wonderful, elegant way of dressing.....like royalty!!! She can light up a room in a second. And she looks amazing for her age...you know what men always say to each other....just look at the Mother, and thats what you wife will end up looking like....well how lucky am I!!!!! Im so glad she is my Mum.

Dad, well what can I say. This, most wise, and courageous man, had it hard. Life dealt him a lot of blows, but today, he stands tall, where others would have so easily have fallen. A Man of few words, but when he speaks, some of the most spirited words will fall upon your ears, like 'Angel Whispers'. When I was so down a few years back, he, unknowingly, said one phrase, and it was simply " there is no no need to consume yourself with worry, because it will not solve anything..so therefore dont worry, because everything will be just as it should be". I suppose anybody could have said this to me, but it was said with such love, thats it filled my heart with light, and so began my recovery. I go to him for advise because he is always right...ALWAYS!!
He is my 'Rock', and my beacon of hope and love.

I love Mum and Dad so much more than words can say. I thank them for my life, for my creativity, my determination, and my Love and Joy of Life. I pray that one day Divine will bless me with my own children, so that I can pass all this forward. How blessed am I?

Much Love and Light xxxx
